Scrumptious New Patterns

It's that time of year, yes, Quilt Market is just around the corner!
So that means it's time for
 NEW patterns and a
NEW fabric collection to show.

In between all the craziness going on over here... (and let me say thank you, thank you, thank you again for the amazingly nice and thoughtful comments and things that keep
appearing in my mailbox.
I am so humbled.  You will never know how much it means!)

...I have been able to fit some stitching in.

Our new fabric line is called "Scrumptious".

We, as in my daughter Camille and I, have been working on our new patterns using our "Scrumptious" fabric collection.  We will be introducing our new fabric and patterns at the International Quilt Market, May 17, in Portland, Oregon.
The fabric will ship to quilt stores in September.

I wish I could snap my fingers and it would be here now,
its much to hard to wait...

but...

all of my new patterns are available NOW on my website as paper patterns or PDF's.

So here they are...

My first New Pattern is called

We have six yummy solids in this line,

so the lime green block really pops.

A shout out to Andrea, who did a beautiful job quilting this quilt.
Thank you so much Andrea!

Moda will be offering this quilt as a kit and I couldn't be more excited about that!
Make sure you ask your local shops to order them for you!

I have always loved Dresden blocks.

These are made with Charm Squares, so they are super easy to cut.

I combined the lime green lattice block with the Dresden block to make Sweet.  74" x 86".

This signature print is one of my favorite pieces in the line, so I used it for the back.

When I hear the word scrumptious, I immediately think of something yummy you might find in a
bakery or candy store,
so I knew right away I wanted to make something with
cupcakes on it.

 Next up is  "Cupcakes".

A table runner 22" x 40" and some coasters to match.

I used the Moda pre-cut Honeycombs and it made this project super simple.

I used the stripes for the swirly frosting...

...and buttons for the cherry on top!
A great party runner.

This "Poppies" quilt was so much fun to make, the courtyard steps are so simple with a

jelly roll and the solid red centers really pop.

The poppy blocks are easy too, don't be afraid of the curved edge petal.
The pieces are large and curve easily.

The flower blocks have a 16-patch scrappy center cut from the jelly roll as well.

It is a nice size - 74" x 90"

I will have some close-ups of this quilt next week, so be sure to check back.

and last but not least,  "Baby Love".

The dots in this line are so much fun, I decided to make this quilt using all
five of the polka-dot fat eighths and
 one solid aqua Fat Eighth.

Use all the solids to do the same thing with one print block or mix and match the prints.
They each give a different look.

I love putting Snuggles on the back of my baby quilts to make them extra soft and cozy.

The quilting shows up so well on the Snuggles.

Thanks to LeAnn for the beautiful quilting on this quilt!

You could also use this pattern for a fun table topper.
Size - 42" x 42".

You may have noticed I have a change to my logo on my pattern covers.
I have to give a special thank you to Camille who made it look so fresh and fun.

Check out her blog, she has lots going on over there.
Don't miss her new book.
 It's pretty great!

With my new patterns ready, we must have a give a way to Celebrate...soooo

tell me which new pattern is the most Scrumptious to you and I will send the winner my

4 NEW patterns...

and of course, some yummy fabric to play with.

And to all of you out there exhibiting or attending Quilt Market,

Best of Luck!

Bonnie

Glad you are doing well, hope you are healing alright, I remember that, my mother in law got diagnosed with breast cancer about three years ago, and I lived with her at the time, and took care of her boo-boos and everything else. 32. Oh my...your fabric is indeed Scrumptious! My two tiny shelves of fabric and my being disabled makes it impossible to buy the pretty fabrics I see. I will just have to scrap with my 15 year old fabrics I have had put away while I was busy raising my grand daughter for eight years. I do finally have my own sewing room now that they are with their mom. I would not trade the years and memories I have with them for all the fabric in the world.
The patterns are wonderful also. I love Sweet and Baby the best, but they are all so pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love the new fabric line..absolutely gorgeous! The patterns are fabulous also but my favorite is Baby Love. Roll on September so we can get our hands on some Scrumptious!
