Happy NEW Year, 7 NEW Patterns and Happy-go-lucky Fabric!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you out there!

I can't think of a better way to start out the New Year
than by sewing, like crazy, with our
NEW fabric line
happy-go-lucky!

So fresh and fun.

I have 7 NEW Patterns!
They are all available in our shop as printed patterns or
PDF downloads.

I am having so much fun with the Navy in this line, that I couldn't resist using it for the main color in this Table Topper and Table Runner.

The pattern includes instructions for both.

This is a fun block because it has so much motion.
I love how my quilter, LeAnn, quilted the swirl in each block and
used pebbles in the background.

Love the scallop print for the back.

One Layer Cake and a white background makes it easy to choose fabric for this quilt.  Add a small border and binding to frame it and you are on your way to stitching.

It is a bit hard to tell in the photos, but the background is a white on white dot. It look like a solid but adds texture.  I love it and used it in all my quilts with a white background.
But then, I love all 9 of the tiny dot prints in this line.

 The All A Flutter quilt is 66" x 80".

By the way, happy-go-lucky ships in May.

Topsy Turvy is a great Charm Square quilt, so scrappy and great to snuggle up in on these chilly winter days,
especially if you put Snuggles on the back.  Size 55" x 62".

By just adding side borders, it makes the finishing much faster.

Who can resist Charm Squares when you see them in the fabric store?
I can't, and then I don't want to pull them apart.
They are so pretty all stacked up!

The Carousel Ride quilt is made with Fat Quarters. Just pick 12 of your favorites, choose a background print (there again, I used the gray dot)
and you are set to go.

The blocks are large so they are easy to piece.
The white in the blocks makes the colors pop.
78" x 82".
(This quilt is not quite finished, so pictures of this one will be coming soon)

You may have heard that MODA has a new pre-cut, Honeycomb Hexagons,
and our happy-go-lucky line is the first to feature them!

I used them in two of my new patterns.
Patchwork Ironing Board Covers and Bundle Up Baby Boy.

This is a great time of year to organize, clean and spruce up your sewing space.  Stitching a new ironing board cover can be a nice change from the brown, spotted and maybe even scorched one you might be using right now.

Make one for a friend, she will love it!

Using the soft raw edge method and the Honeycomb pre-cut hexagons makes this
Ironing Board cover so EASY!

The Honeycomb Hexagons are also available in several Bella Solid colors.

My new oven Mitt pattern includes all 6 of the pocket oven mitts.

It's a great way to use up those scraps of your favorite prints you can't seem to part with.

Another great idea for gift giving, sewing day project or sampler quilt, using all 6 blocks.

I used the Insul-Bright heat resistant batting to add extra protection in the oven mitt.

Many of you have stitched our Bundle Up Baby Girl pattern, that came out a few years ago, and loved the soft raw-edged quilt-as-you-go method.
Well, this one is soft raw edge and
quilt-as-you-go as well.

This pattern would also be a great Table Topper!

I also love the scallop print on the bias for binding and used it on several of my quilts.
It comes in 9 different colors.

The blue striped quilt on this pattern uses Jelly roll strips and Honeycombs.

After the quilts are washed and dried, they are so soft and cozy!

Snuggle up your baby boy!

My plan was to design 4 new patterns, but when I started designing and sewing,
 I just couldn't stop.

If you would like to make a comment, you could win
some fabric.
Maybe you will get lucky...happy-go-lucky...

Happy 2013!
