My Mail Box tears overflowing...

...I do not even know how to start or what to say to express my surprise, gratitude and love to everyone who made the effort to flood my mail box with cards and packages to show your support... It was a pretty teary day after we arrived home from the cabin later on Sunday where I had a relaxing weekend of recovery.

We stopped at the mail box to gather the mail and my husband said "Wow, what is all this?"  We were both so amazed!

There are almost 100 packages and letters...

...not to mention all the e-mails and sweet comments I have received on line!

I sat in my comfy chair in my studio and sobbed as I read each and every note you wrote and opened every package you so thoughtfully mailed.

You have NO idea how much that love and support gives me the strength to do what I have been facing and what is ahead  for me... My days are very overwhelming at times and all I have to do is look at the beautiful cards of encouragement and my courage comes back!

I was so overwhelmed  with love and kindness and it doesn't seem nearly adequate enough to say

Thank You SOOO Much!!!!

but I don't know what else to say. I am so humbled and blessed to be among such great, wonderful and thoughtful people.  I know what this time of year means to most of you who are already up into the wee hours of the night trying to get ready for Market and I know every spare minute counts.
You took the time! Thank you!

Even though some of you I don't even know and some of you I know very well, I felt the loving spirit of encouragement from each of you. I think I may have an idea who put this all together and she is one amazing girl!  You know who you are and I can't thank you enough!

Your kindness, love, thoughtfulness, sincerity and prayers will get me through some tough days ahead, you have already lightened my heart so much.
and may God bless each and every one of you,

  7. Bonnie, as a fellow breast cancer survivor (yes, you are a survivor!!) I want to reassure you that you can do this! I know it may feel overwhelming at times but just remember the prayers and love that is surrounding you. There are two things that helped me on my cancer journey - watching funny videos during my chemo treatments so I could laugh and block out the scary feelings and a gratitude journal where I recorded the many miracles and tender mercies of the Lord that helped me to feel encircled by His love. Remember that quilting and designing beautiful fabric will help you to heal. My prayers will be with you in your journey!

  8. Thinking of you and your family as you go on this difficult journey. Glad you are feeling the support of so many!

  9. Thank you for keeping in touch so we know how you're doing. All best wishes, LeAnn

  10. Bonnie Thinking of you here as I begin my journey with Breast Cancer. I have a lot ahead of me to get through. And I know it is gonna be the hardest thing I have ever done. We all definitely need a strong suppor tnetwork. It looks as though you have lots of supporters their for you near and far.

  11. Bonnie, It is so wonderful to read your posts when we know you are so completely overwhelmed with all that is happening in your life today. You have given so much of yourself in sharing your gift of creativity with us and I know that so many of us feel we should be thanking YOU for bringing so much pleasure and joy into our lives...and those of us who are "Fabric Fondlers" are especially greatful to you. *wink* Keeping you in my heart and lifting you in prayer each and every day. God Bless and very gentle hugs coming your way...

  12. I have you on my prayer list. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I will be claiming this promise for you.

  13. I have never met you or Camille but I can honestly say that I love you both. It's funny how your beautiful fabric and patterns connect us all. I always feel the love you two put into your work and it always makes my life brighter. One of these days I hope I can meet you and give you a hug.

  14. thinking of you often and hoping for a quick recovery!

  15. Bonnie, I have only just this minute caught up on your news and I want to say how shocked and sad I was to read of your illness. I regularly follow you and Camille's blogs, but have been on holidays and have been behind with my blog reading. May I just say how much I respect your approach to God, family and life. I pray that you will use this time of rest and recovery to draw strength from God and your family and to enjoy the love and care of your friends. My thoughts are with you as you recover. Many blessings.

  16. Hi Bonnie: I just found out about your diagnosis. Just wanted to let you know my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer 10 years ago, at 42 yrs old. She had surgery, went through 3 years of chemo, and still is the same person she was before. It takes a strong person and I'm sure you're one. We'll be here for you!

  17. Bonnie, thank you for sharing your journey. I have been so blessed by you and Camille, your blogs, your fabrics, your patterns, books etc - it feels like we are old friends even though we've never met. I have learned so much from you both and thoroughly enjoyed the glimpses into your lives! :O) Thank you. I was saddened to read of your trial you are in right now, but I am so thankful you know whose Hands you are in! The blessing of family and faith will carry you through. I stopped and prayed for you, for your husband and family and friends and for healing. Praying for peace in the journey, that you are able to take one day at a time, that He would open your eyes to the blessings each day, that he would strengthen your body and enable it to fight and overcome the cancer and give you energy and strength - mercies new every morning! Great is His faithfulness! Please rest!!! Hugs to you sweet Bonnie! Love, Bari
