The Best Christmas Present

Anyone that knows me well, knows that I love newborn babies. My last baby was born on Dec. 26.  It really made Christmas a special time for our family.

Now little Nicholas is here and he is such a sweet baby.  I finally got to snuggle the little guy and snuggle we did.  All weekend.  Camille could barely pry him from me to get a few snuggles in herself.

Don't you just love the way they lay on your chest and breathe on your neck and squeek now and then...     oh I just love that.

  10. Congratulations on your new grandchild. Tonight I held my nieces 10 day old newborn, and we have another grandniece due to arrive in January. Babies are indeed the best Christmas present (especially wrapped in a wonderful quilt).

  12. Ok, I have been in love with this quilt since this was first posted. I finally got the pattern, but well, I'm not so smart. I either can't read instructions or this was done a little different. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the raw edge of the circles and it appears like the quarter circles are pieced together. Is that right? Did you really use the fusible stuff like the pattern indicates? Does any of this even make sense? Please help....
