Vintage Modern...Vintage Modern...Vintage Modern...Vintage Modern..

Just let me start out with a big "Thank You" to Kimberly and the Fat Quarter Shop team!

So thrilled that you chose our Vintage Modern line for the 2012 Designer Mystery Block of the Month!  I just happened to get a sneak peek of the entire quilt and it is absolutely beautiful.

Ladies, you will not want to miss out on this project. Trust me on this one.

It's been such a fun line to design with.

Vintage Modern will be available before you know it!
(Watch for it in May)

So, here is my Vintage Modern item from my closet.

Just a couple of clues.

They were my Mom's before they were mine...

I let my kids play dress up in them a few years ago...
(not sure why I did that!!!)

They had something to do with this...

...and yes, they will be passed down to one of my girls...
(possibly, the one in the picture above).

Hint: It might not be that obvious, you might want to think twice before you answer.
Hmmm, another clue maybe...

If you are right, you could be the winner for one of these...
Since it is Bonnie and Camille day for the hop, pop on over and enter on Camille's blog too!

Then stop by Fig Tree tomorrow and see what clues Joanna has for you.

  5. My first thought was pearls - worn first by your mother, then you on your wedding days.
But would you let a child play with them? Then I recalled that I had let my son use my pearls and other jewellery as treasure when he was playing Pirates once upon a time.
So I am sticking with pearls and you being a lovely mummy!

  55. Bonnie, I think they are pearls-yes, but no longer in necklace form. I bet somewhere along the line they came unstrung and now are sewn on your daughter's wedding dress, and will be used that way for many more weddings to come. What a great way to share such a special gift!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I think it may be a peral bracelet.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I would have to say it is a strand of pearls. I am fortunate to own my grandmother's pearl necklace and earrings and it was something I wore on my wedding day. My father had given them to her and that made it even more special. Someday I hope that my daughter will wear them on her special day!

  72. Pearl earrings - possibly pearls with diamonds as the pic of your mother looks a bit sparkly. Love your new fabric line!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Pearls, pearls and more pearls. The complete set...earrings, bracelet and necklace...it looks as though your mom is wearing all three in the picture (if I look real close it looks like she has the bracelt on her left wrist), I could be wrong...but that's my guess!
Can't wait for May and Vintage Modern to be available to us all. Everyone should have some Vintage Modern in their life
