Let's Celebrate with a Giveaway!

New patterns are here!

Slice of Charm is first up, a quick and fun charm pack pattern made from Simple Abundance charm squares. It uses soft edge applique, and is the perfect size for a table topper or baby quilt. Can you imaging this out of soft pinks and greens wrapped around a baby? Yum.

Piecing pillowcases is so much fun, especially when you are redecorating a bedroom or making a gift for a friend. The pattern includes all 4 designs. Choose your favoite fabric and start stitching away!

If you are looking for an easy quilt, this one is perfect for you. It measures 66" x 79" and uses the new Authentic line by Sweetwater.

And what better way to celebrate the new patterns ......than with my first giveaway! What exactly am I giving away? A copy of my new "Lots of Dots" book and a Polka Dot Pin cushion.

It works like this: Enter by leaving a comment telling me which one of the three new patterns (above) is your favorite. You get an extra entry by telling me which one of my old patterns is your favorite, you can find them here at my website at http://www.cottonway.com/. The winner will be announced on Monday, September 21st.
Good luck ladies!

Bonnie

  159. I LOVE the Limeade! Polka dots seem to be the craze these days...I'm seeing them everywhere! I have not made the shift from piecing to applique yet, so no circles for me at this point. Perhaps the new book would teach me how?!!!

The older pattern I have long admired is "Simply Sarah", a reminder of old time quilts designed using one block but lots of fabrics!

  160. I like Slice of Charm from your new patterns and Pennies from Heaven from your old patterns.

  161. My favourite is "slice of charm" because it reminds me of sweets and cake! ( I am not obsessed with food!!) and my other older pattern favourite is simply sarah.
I love all of them really, it was hard to have to pick one!

  169. Slice of Charm is my favorite new pattern of yours and Life's Journey is my fave old pattern! All your work is beautiful. You and your daughter Camille are so talented! Camille really inspired me to get quilting and I have finished two quilts and two quilted table runners now!

  170. First of all, I love polka dots. I'm easily attracted to anything of the circular design nature, so your book looks wonderful!

I love the Limeade pattern, with a close second of the pillowcases.

As for your older stuff, I loved the baking/hot pads - maybe that's partly because I just had a new baby 2 months ago, so easy, small projects are more appealing right now!

LOVE your Simple Abundance line with Camille!!

  174. I love all the new patterns but I think if I had to pick one right now it would be 'Lots of Dots'. You really know how to make it hard on us don't you, making us pick favorites from your wonderful selections **wink**. I love to do table toppers so I think if I was picking of the older (well, not brand new patterns) it would be either 'Seasonal Table Runners' (love em) or 'Let's Set The Table' (love em). There was one other I believe a November table runner of autumn leaves, one of my favorite blocks in the world to make. Well, that's as close as I can come to choosing a favorite, I hope it counts for me in the give away!!! Thanks so much for a chance at winning wonderful treasures.

  178. I have been rousing through all your patterns and it was hard to chose, but I would chose Bailey's bag. From the new ones I like the Slice of Charm best and the book and pincushion look lovely, I would be thrilled to have them ;-)

  180. My favorite new one is Limeade and favorite old one is It's a Girl. It was quick and I loved the matching jacket.

  181. I really like Slice of Charm. It's beautiful and I like that it uses a charm pack. Really great job. I looked at your older patterns and I really like Star Struck. I didn't realize how many beautiful patterns you have. I bought your fabric online and ended up with half yours and half your daughters colorways on Cotton Blossoms. Now I'll have to make 2 quilts. :)

  182. I love the Limeade. As for favorite, that is a hard one because I love them all. But I'll pick it's a girl.

  183. A slice of charm is my favorite out of your new patterns. But the Dot-to-Dot pattern is my favorite of your older patterns. Even if its not that old. I love both of your lines of fabric. They are some of my favorite out there. Thanks for sharing.

  187. I love all your new patterns, but especially 'Slice of Charm'. Although many people find it difficult, I love working with curved blocks.
Totally different though, but really beautiful is your 'Star burst garden'. Love the country look!

  188. Oops!!! Lots of Dots is a book so I'd better pick "Slice of Charm" as my new favorite. I love it because it looks like Dresden Plates and oh how I want to try them and the 'soft edge applique'.
    Thanks again, Nancy

  189. Hello Bonnie,
I love the Slice of Charm pattern best. It's great you can make it what charm packs--one of my favorite things to buy at quilt shops. I love the color scheme, too.

  190. I love, love, love slice of charm. It gives a new fresh spin on the Dresden Plate pattern. I have several antique quilts with this pattern, so I will definitely be ordering Slice of Charm to add to the collection. Abundantly Blessed was my first attempt at a table runner and it was well worth the hard work and long nights finishing it. Thanks for making interestingly charming patterns for any level quilter!
