Moda Bog Hop

Welcome to my day for the Moda Blog Hop.

Hi, I am Bonnie and my pattern company is
Cotton Way

I hope you are all enjoying collecting blocks and lots of ideas for projects to give you some
quilt therapy.

With lots of giveaways for fabric, patterns and quilting gadgets, whats not to love about each and every Moda Blog Hop?

Speaking of Size Matters...

...when my husband and I got engaged, my future mother-in-law said, "You can't marry her, she is too short!" She was very serious. I was speechless. Coming from a mother of basketball players, as you can see, she had a valid point. (I am wearing the tallest shoes I could find.)  Her son is a foot taller than me and she certainly didn't want short grandchildren. To her, size did matter.  After many years, I am pretty sure she has totally forgotten about that comment and I don't think it matters at all to her now. Yes, he does have a cast on his arm, actually, one on each arm (that's why he is wearing a cream colored suit - we thought that way maybe no one would notice). And yes, they were basketball injuries, but that's a story for another day.

My block is called Greek Cross and I decided to make it scrappy.

I stitched three of the blocks together and made it into a Table Runner.

You can find my block instructions here.

It can be made from one Charm Pack which you can find  here.
The binding is also scrappy and is part of the charm pack. Such an easy project.

My daughter Camille and I design fabric for Moda. Our latest line is Scrumptious.

A few pics from my patterns from this line.

Poppies

and Cupcakes

The cut goods are in stores and the yardage will be shipping very soon!

I have a yummy Fat Eighth bundle of Scrumptious to give to one lucky winner. Thank you Moda!

Two more winners will get a Charm Pack of Scrumptious.

Just make a comment telling me which Cotton Way pattern is your favorite and
what project you just can't wait to start.

I will announce the winner on September 16 so please come back to see who the winners are.

And in case you didn't hear I now have a facebook page, and a brand new Instagram account
(I am @bonniecottonway) and if you would like to follow along, come on over.

Don't forget to visit Blackbird Designs and Stephanie Ryan Design Studio today as well.

Have fun and happy stitching,
Bonnie

Technically I have started - I look forward to the layout of the Size Matters blocks - I have been doing them in blue/white (always wanted to work a 2-color quilt) and it will be my charity quilt for our quilt guild collection.

  195. Blush was my most favorite ever fabric because it was my introduction to using turquoise and red and all the other wonderful light colors that go with it, have made many quilts with it and its successors. I think I am ready for Poppies. Love the blocks of colors and I am ready for the curves. I recently bought a "retired featherweight" from my quilting friend and teacher and I can see it sewing lots of blocks and curves for Poppies. Stephani in N. TX (Tomazec@aol.com)
