Time for Celebration

It's that time of year, a special time to spend with
family and friends.
A time to look back on the year and reflect on the events of
2010 and count our blessings.

This has been an especially great year for me.
So many amazing things have happened in our family.
We are SO blessed!

As many of you know, I have been celebrating
Cotton Way's 20 year Anniversay all year long as well.

And to top it off, this magazine just hit the stands.

My "Blissful Day" quilt made the cover!

It was fun to read the article about our family and how
 Cotton Way all started.
What an amazing journey it has been.

Quilt Magazine did an amazing job!
Thank you to everyone involved!

If you are interested in a quilt kit, hop on over to our website
It's a super easy quilt to make and it's made with my
favoite fabric line so far, Bliss.

So, to finish the year and my 20 year Celebration off right...

I am doing a give a way for the quilt kit for my
"Blissful Day" quilt!

To enter, leave a comment telling me what you are
looking forward to in 2011.

If you blog about it, or link to it, you will get two entries in the
give a way.
The winner will be announced on December 31st.

I hope your holidays are filled with joy, peace and laughter!

Merry Christmas,
Bonnie

2011 heralds the start of high school for my Nicholas. I am so excited for him, as he will be in a class of likeminded students who enjoy learning and want to make an effort with their work (he's going into a special class for high achievers). Its the start of his journey into teenage years as he turns 13 in March. He's turning into an incredible person (most of the time!) and I am looking forward to helping him steer his way through!

Of course, I'm looking forward to more quilting too!

  63. Oh my! I'd love to win the "Blissful Day" quilt kit. It is really beautiful! As soon as I get out shopping, this magazine will be in my cart!

For 2011, I am looking forward to freeing myself from a lingering sadness in our family that we have had for 2+ years. Our son's first child, a boy age 13, was "taken" from our family over 2 years ago by his mother (now remarried) who now has total custody. Our grandson now 15 will be moving across the country with his Mom and her family this month. So, my family is taking a deep breath and moving on and away from the sadness.

    Have a wonderful Christmas!

  183. I am looking forward to a less stressful year and spending many happy moments with my family and parents. We survived the Nashville May floods...my sister, mother and I stood at the edge of the flood waters for 5 1/2 hours waiting for my father to be rescued by boat. They had to stay at my house for a week, while there my mother fell down my stairs and hurt her leg really bad. We repaired their home and they moved back in. Couple of months later they were involved in a car accident, hospital trip the whole nine yards, turned out they were fine. My mother had a mini stroke at the same time my father was having dizzy spells and his blood was so low they put him in the hospital. I look forward to having many happy moments with them this year. I would also like to set aside more time for sewing and quilting.

  193. I am looking forward to being able to see properly and therefor quilt better. Due to an inoperable eye condition I have been experiencing worsening eyesight for the last ten years. Now thanks to custom made and very expensive contact lenses I can see clearer than I have since I was diagnosed at 25. Nice Christmas present as I got them on the 23rd of Dec. Looking back at my recent hand stitching is kind of scary but at least I kept it up! Looking forward to not having to hold my stitching an inch under my nose to see it too!!!
